A poolfishing Botbase for Honorbuddy2

This botbase is the continued part of the plugin known as AutoAngler, which was realy great but discontinued by it's author. So I decided to continue and convert it into a botbase, to make things like combat, resting, looting etc. easier and to allow running the fishing bot in mixed mode. To be able to provide a localized user interface, this botbase is provided as a dll file in future with permissions of Hawker. If someone is interested to look into the source: PM me! There's nothing secret.

Since this is a flying botbase like ArchBuddy and GB2, you can only use it with lifetime subscription or a valid payed plugin key!


Known Issue

In order to work, the Botbase needs to be rebuilt with every new release of Honorbuddy! So please be patient if you are getting a message like this:

There's no way for me to prevent this, unless this Botbase is getting a featured part of Honorbuddy!


Download

This botbase is new and a beta, so it will frequently be updated. Make sure you use the latest .zip from my Repository.


Installation

If you don't know how to install a botbase, please read the HowTo Article "Installation". More articles will follow soon, so check the wiki from time to time.

If you don't know how to setup the bot or want to know, what you are doing in settings, please read the HowTo Article "Settings".


Profiles

The profiles for this Botbase are designed like the ones for GB2. You'll need to add some Hotspots and optionally a mailbox (if you want to use the mail feature) and a repair vendor. Blackspots will blacklist pools in a 2D range of 20 yards around it.

Bugreports

If you want to report any bug, first of all make sure you are using the latest build from my Repository! If there's a new build, look into the changelog and see what was fixed.

The issue is not mentioned? Go to my Issues Tracker and see if somebody else already tracked it. Still nothing? Leave me a report with full logfiles! I will try to look into it as fast as possible.


Navigation Issues

To forward your issues with navigation, please report them as follows:

1. Description of problem (where is the character located; is it jumping, standing around, flying?)
2. Location of problem (press the 'My Location' button on HB).
3. A full logfile of the current session.
4. Attach two screenshots; one of your character at the problem (feel free to remove sensitive details) and one of the world map when opened at the location.

Fixed some luring and combat issues, which didn't come up in my latest tests yesterday and should be fine now.

To answer your questions:

- The botbase uses default Honorbuddy profiles like AutoAngler did, so old profiles should still work fine.
- I'm going to upload a new zipfile with every release, the file is created by a script which moves the files from my visual studio project to my local repo.
- Water walking of any kind isn't implemented yet. I know AutoAngler had it and I will add it too, but for now we have a very basic botbase which I want to be without bugs first!

 

Here's HB 5184.zip from a staff member - do not use it for questing (it doesn't have the usetransport update)

I have version 5814 and I've tried every different method to get PFB up and running. Still getting the error

Im using the right HB but mine poolfisher just keep it looking for pools dont fish anything, i tryed to start it in front a pool and nothing soo i really dont know what to do i've used many profiles of cicrosoftand still dont work ! i do no if it is my HB.. anyone got a sollution ?
edit: ok i downloaded HB from kickass link and it working but he still dont swaping the weapons to pole
is going like this he fish the pool then he switchs to the weapons and stay in air

 

If you u are using 2handers then leave the offhand blank. That should make the switching go smoothly.

 

I cant get the latest version the work, Its just saying ''Error while loading poolfishingbuddy'' when i start Honorbuddy and i have puted it in the file ''bots''

 

^You can always try the opensource autoangler 2

 

Did you follow the instructions in my post above? (post #5)... PFB does not work with the latest version of HB, you have to use the previous version - step by step instructions above.

i find when using this , and the sham wow cc i often do not switch weapons (no error message or anything of that sort, but simply dont switch weapons , or even more strange it will switch to defend but wont switch back to the rod unless manually done by myself) using a 2 hand weapon and naturally a 2 hand rod (figured it was my dual 1 handers causing issues but it persist again i didnt post the log as there is no error message to follow it im simply confused
